The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is proud to announce its call for applications, for ‘Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management’ (PGDPHM), running for the fourth consecutive year, August 2011 to July 2012.

Below are the details of the course:

Venue: Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH), Delhi, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar.

Course Duration: 1 Year

Last Date of Application: 31st May 2011

Eligibility Criteria:

The course would be open to in-service candidates working with the central, state or local governments, with at least two to three years of experience in the health sector.

Applicants should have MBBS, BDS or B.Sc in nursing/health science/natural sciences or M.A. in social sciences or an equivalent qualification. They need to have been involved either in:

Public health activities at the community, hospital or district level,

In Directorates of Health Services, public health or family welfare,

In other health-related organizations.

Course Fee:

The course fee for self-sponsored candidates is Rs. 2 lakh per year, per participant. The cost for tuition fee is Rs. 1 lakh and cost for boarding and lodging expenses is Rs. 1 lakh. The course fee for international candidates is USD 10,000, per year, per participant (includes tuition fee and boarding and lodging expenses).
