Project Employment Notice

 

Applications duly typed or neatly own hand written are invited latest by 28th May 2010 for the following positions on temporary/contract basis only for the period of the tenure of the projects entitled “Enhancing knowledge and promoting health seeking behaviour of couples on STIs and cervical cancer in urban slums of Mumbai” duly funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR):-

A Post Graduate degree from the recognized university in Sociology / Social Work / Psychology with at least 2 years of experience in research, data collection and counseling / motivation in reproductive health.

Statistical Assistant

A Post Graduate/ Graduate degree in Statistics / Mathematics with at least              1 year of experience in research / data analysis

Below 28 years

Rs.10,700/- pm

Technician (Lab)

A Post Graduate degree in Biological Science / B.Sc, DMLT with experience of working in laboratory on Cytology and Pap Smears.

Below 28 years

Rs.9,630/- pm

 

Duration of appointment of above posts will be two and half years but extendable only on yearly basis on the basis, of their work performance.

 

General:

  1. Speaking in Marathi and reporting/writing skills in English is essential for all the post above.
  2. The relaxation in age in case of reserved category candidates will be given (SC/ST-5 Years, OBC-3 years and PH-10 years as the case may be). However, no age limit for candidate from the NIRRH or ICMR Institutes.

 

The candidates are requested to apply on plain paper giving complete bio-data along with the attested relevant copies of certificates and testimonials, caste certificate etc. The complete application in all respects should reach to the Director, National Institute for Reproductive Health, J.M.
