The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is proud to announce its call for applications for the ‘Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management” (PGDPHM) to its third batch of students in the academic year August 2010 to July 2011. Below please find the details of the course:

 

Venue: Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH), Gandhinagar. 

Course Duration: 1 Year

Last Date of Application: 31st May 2010

Eligibility Criteria: (Self Sponsored Applicants)

The course would be open to:

Applicants who are in-service candidates working with the central, state or local governments, with at least two to three years of experience in the health sector. Applicants should have MBBS, BDS or B.Sc in nursing/health science/natural sciences or M.A. in social sciences or an equivalent qualification.

They need to have been involved either in:

•  Public health activities at the community, hospital or district level,

•  In Directorates of Health Services, public health or family welfare,

•  In other health related organizations.

Course Fee:  The course fee for self-sponsored candidates is Rs. 2 lakh per year, per participant. The cost for tuition fee is Rs. 1 lakh and cost for boarding and lodging expenses is Rs. 1 lakh.

The course fee for international candidates is USD 10,000, per year, per participant (includes tuition fee and boarding and lodging expenses).

IASSH-Membership fee-reg-2010

Dear All,
In the General Body meeting held at BHU, Varanasi, 5th March,2010, it has been accepted to enhance the IASSH membership fee and agreed to implement from 1st April,2010. The revised membership fee is as follows:

LIFE MEMBERSHIP FEE: 2000/-, ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE: 500/- AND INSTITUTION MEMBERSHIP FEE; 20,000
